INTERN
As a CS Energy intern, you will work in a team environment to support projects and initiatives to deliver results. The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for renewable energy. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible and capable of working in a dynamic team of professionals and a self-starter who can independently complete tasks on schedule and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will get real responsibilities and many opportunities to learn.
Under the Direction of the Subcontracts Manager the Supply Chain Intern will get hands on experience in the subcontract management process from procurement through project execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Supports the Subcontract Manager in tracking and managing claims
+ Effectively routes, reviews, and tracks progress of change orders
+ Assists in creating and maintaining subcontractor scorecards
+ Performs research in support of the bid process and procuring subcontractors
+ Helps create documentation and PowerPoint presentations for field training purposes
+ Solicits necessary feedback from internal teams and external parties
+ Supports in routing and tracking Purchase Orders
+ Helps solicitates quotes from suppliers and reviews them for scope and pricing
Requirements
+ Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Math, Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering (equivalent experience accepted)
+ Excellent Academic Credentials (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Must have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills
+ Track record of achievement
+ Self-directed, motivated, and flexible self-starter with an ability to work independently and to autonomously manage tasks
+ Able to accomplish multiple/simultaneous assignments within deadlines; Strong due diligence skills
+ Ability and desire to learn and progress within your position
+ Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced challenging environment
+ Working Knowledge of Word, Excel, and software.
+ Exceptional professional communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
+ Occasional Travel to Project Sites
