    Overview:

    The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory is looking for an Intern to join the Procurement Division. In this role, you will support lab-wide procurement activities which include products, research, services, maintenance, and construction.

    Responsibilities:

    Core Duties

    • Assist with procurement transactions such as purchase orders, subcontract modifications, change orders, preparing Request for Quotes (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP), procurement compliance reviews and other procurement transactions.
    • Support implementation of the Procurement sourcing tool and other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:

    Education and Experience

    • Junior, Senior or Graduate Student majoring or minoring in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Interpersonal Skills, Excellent verbal and written communications; results-oriented, self-motivated, independent decision-making and problem-solving and outstanding prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

    Physical Requirements

    • If any work is conducted onsite, this position requires occasional reaching, stooping and lifting of office files, reports and records, typically weighing 5 pounds or less. Reasonable accommodations will be considered which would allow the employee to perform the essential functions of this job.
