    Services include organizing, monitoring and reporting program activities and progress, promoting unit research capabilities to various audiences and managing program budgets.

    Responsible for setting or contributing to employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. Unit and program/project management, research staff/faculty and administrative personnel, vendors and potential and active sponsors.     This position will supervise:
    program staff.

    Lead efforts in promoting unit's research services and capabilities to potential sponsors and partners (marketing, trade shows, events, fundraising and development, forums, etc.).

    Formulate and upon approval, administer research program budgets; oversee preparation of budget and other financial reports.
    Conduct follow-up efforts to determine if program/project objectives were met.
    Coordinate the procurement of equipment, materials and supplies required for program development and completion.
    Plan and supervise activities of support staff.
    Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    This job requires skills in project/program management, marketing/promotion, client relations, customer service and technology specific to assigned area of operations.

    Also required are organization and communications skills and use of office and specialized computer applications.
