    As a Software Development Manager, you will

    be responsible for leading

    and managing (a) dynamic team(s) of software developers, contract developers, vendors, and professional service providers.

    Your primary focus will be to drive the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions by providing strategic leadership, managing resources, and fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.

    Lead, mentor, and manage teams of software developers, vendors, and professional

    service providers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

    Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning by providing guidance on technical challenges and career development for team members.

    Oversee the entire software development life cycle, from planning and design to implementation and testing.
    Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to define project scope,

    objectives

    , and deliverables.
    Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
    Develop and execute the software development strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
    Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps and long-term development plans.
    Drive innovation within the team, exploring

    new technologies and

    methodologies.
    Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to the development team.
    Collaborate with architects and senior developers to design scalable and robust software solutions.
    Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and industry standards.
    Strategically optimize resource

    allocation to meet project demands and timelines, including identifying staffing needs, actively participating in

    recruitment efforts, and fostering team building initiatives
    Manage and

    monitor

    team performance, providing the members with feedback and conducting performance reviews.
    Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the development team(s).
    Establish and uphold robust unit testing processes to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality software.
    Foster collaboration with quality assurance teams to promptly

    identify

    and address any issues.

    Oversee the onboarding process for new team members, providing comprehensive training and mentorship
    Work within the Scrum Agile framework.
    Foster productive collaboration and communication channels with cross-functional teams,

    Continuously research industry trends and emerging technologies to

    identify

    and implement best practices in software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
