Job Description:
Provide strategic direction and leadership in defining the overall architecture vision and roadmap for the organization. Drive the adoption of best practices, standards, and architectural principles to ensure consistency, reliability, and scalability across systems and applications.
Work closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals and objectives. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends and make recommendations for their adoption or integration into existing systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and robust architectural solutions. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Lead a team of architects and technical leads, providing mentorship, guidance, and support in their professional development. Set clear goals and objectives, and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary resources and tools to succeed.
Establish and enforce architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements. Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks.
Identify and mitigate architectural risks and dependencies that may impact the organization's ability to deliver on its strategic objectives. Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions or failures.
Evaluate third-party vendors, tools, and solutions to support the organization's architectural goals and objectives. Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure alignment with business needs and architectural standards.
Communicate effectively with executive leadership, technical teams, and other stakeholders to articulate architectural vision, strategy, and priorities. Build consensus and alignment around architectural decisions and initiatives.
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $200K/year to $220K/year + 15% bonus and benefits.
