    Overview:

    The Integration Architect is primarily a delivery expert with deep functional and technical skills that is responsible for the overall success of software implementation & integration projects within the Intelligent Grid Solutions utility practice.

    The Integration Architect is a customer facing problem solver, an effective communicator that can bridge the business needs of our customers into sound technical solutions. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional technical and analytical skills and will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing software solutions, while providing technical leadership across the team.

    Responsibilities:
    • Leverage modern software architecture and emerging technologies in the control room and collaboration space to deliver new capabilities and value for business users and end customers.
    • Integrates control room wall software with heterogenous software.
    • Quickly prototypes and iterates on ideas.
    • Analyze design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
    • Delivers results when working on shorter-term (weeks-months), outcome-focused service engagements.
    • Articulates the value proposition of existing technology capabilities and maps them to customer requirements to minimize incremental cost of development.
    • Informs project managers and other stakeholders of key customer issues, identifies potential problems or conflicts and resolves them when necessary.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in computer science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 5 years of experience in programming, api development, or web development.
    • Familiarity with industrial automation, IIoT, analytics
    • Familiarity with developing integrations using APIs, REST/JSON, SOAP, etc.
    • Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as .NET, SQL, JavaScript, Python etc.
    • Comfortable using Software Development Kits (SDKs)
    • Familiarity with application/web development designed for mobile devices
    • Experience designing systems with modern architectural principles
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that include presentation skills/experience to an executive audience.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Expertise with control rooms technologies used in collaboration, user experience, sharing, visualizations.
    • Experience with utilities, utility operations, and control center operations
    • Experience with integrating with ESRI GIS and Aveva SCADA HMI platforms.
    • Experience with middleware integration systems similar to HighByte.
    • Experience with AWS-enabled analytics ecosystems

    Location: Ideally on premise in Los Angeles, CA (can accommodate hybrid and/or remote if within the same time zone)

    Compensation:

    In accordance with California state law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $128,500 - $145,000. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
