    Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at-all from Day One. Job Description Provides direction and leadership for a team of Credit Portfolio Managers.

    Has responsibility for managing credit account relationships, directly and/or through team members, by successfully closing new business relationships and retaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.

    Takes a leadership role in all aspects of underwriting loans, managing credit portfolios, credit risk and responding to prospect or customer needs.

    Assures that credit quality is maintained in assigned team portfolios. This role is hybrid anywhere within the U.S. Bank footprint. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days. Basic Qualifications + Typically a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience + Typically eight or more years of wholesale banking or related experience Preferred Skills/Experience + Thorough knowledge of credit policies, procedures and terminology + Commercial/ business banking underwriting experience + Experience with nCino + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Good negotiation and networking skill and ability + Experience managing people in a wholesale credit environment + Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants (.
