- Continuously review and manage case files from inception through mediation, arbitration, trial, and settlement.
- Prepare subpoenas for depositions and document productions.
- Handle initial discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
- Draft responses to discovery, create document productions, and maintain privilege logs.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions.
- Research and engage with subject matter experts.
- E-file documents in both State and Federal Court systems.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely responses.
- Create legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, fact/medical chronologies, agreements, and trial/mediation binders.
- Investigate facts as requested by attorneys.
- Prepare trial-related materials, including notebooks, exhibit lists, and witness schedules.
- Attend trials as necessary.
- Collaborate in witness management and trial presentation.
- Minimum of five years of general civil litigation experience.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Proficient in using the internet and computer applications.
