- Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects,
- Perform work involving the preparation of Roadway design using local (State, County or City) or AASHTO standards
- Project roles include planning development; urban and rural roadway design; freeway and interchange design; rights of way coordination and management; and public safety, all with a focus on quality
- Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development:
- Ability to lead and manage all phases of a project
- Develop opportunity leads, project teams and coordination with the Infrastructure Client Development team to capture strategic projects
- Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, mentoring and development of junior staff and design/drafters, and development of project plans and schedules
- Contribute to and assist in leading the strategic planning, development, and growth of the Ohio Transportation team.
- Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities will include excellent, clear, and concise, oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations.
- 5 years of progressive highway (ODOT) design experience, including PM experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Ohio PE license or ability to obtain
- Experience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams
- ability to direct staff that is completing design within Civil 3D, Microstation, or OpenRoads
- 10+ years of progressive highway (ODOT) design experience, including 5+ years of PM experience on ODOT projects
- Experience working on large ODOT projects
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.
