    Description
    Experienced full-time front office team member needed for a well-established general dental practice in Alcoa. Candidates should be detail-oriented, and have an understanding of dental insurance and treatment planning. Must be dependable, a people person, and a team player.

    Qualifications:
    • 2+ years experience in dental or medical administration/patient coordination required.
    • Knowledge of dental terminology, and dental coding desired.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with dental collection processes is a plus.

    Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate patient appointments and schedules.
    • Obtain and verify patient information.
    • Assist with dental billing and coding processes.
    • Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies.
    • Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies.
    • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
    • Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients regarding billing and payment inquiries.
