    Under the direction of the Manager, Health Access Operations, the Analyst II - Health Access position is fully competent to perform responsible and difficult analytical work in varied support areas designated by management.

    Projects may include statistical analyses, operational support, policy, procedure and budget development, program implementation and administration, or other areas which may be relevant for Health Access operations or community program specific work efforts.

    The Analyst II - Health Access is expected to exercise independent judgment in selecting study approach and analytical techniques, and in making sound recommendations.

    Education & Experience

    Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a health plan setting having a project management role and/or experience performing an analytic function and building reports.

    Experience in the operational areas of outreach and/or community program establishment a plus. Experience working with PowerBI, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, and SSRS a plus. Experience building dynamic dashboards for reporting purposes and working with relational databases preferred.
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Policy, or related field from an accredited institution required.
    Key Qualifications
    Thorough knowledge of Medi-Cal and Medicare managed care. Must possess strong knowledge of project management and cross-organizational coordination.
    High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Excellent writing, interpersonal communication, project management and organizational skills required. Highly analytical and capable of translating analytical insights into action. Strong time management skills.
    Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of organizations. Must have a high degree of patience and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
