- Lead all electrical systems initiatives to ensure product safety, efficacy, and timely delivery within budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define precise technical requirements for electronic systems and components.
- Architect electronic systems for our ultrasound neurotechnology platform.
- Create PCB designs that meet scalability and reliability standards.
- Program FPGAs to support complex electronic systems.
- Integrate embedded systems for seamless functionality within the device architecture.
- Oversee the testing and characterization of new electronic designs.
- Ensure integration and alignment across all project facets with other engineering and scientific teams.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electronic product design, including work on medical devices or high-reliability applications.
- Proficiency in PCB design software and knowledge of best practices in PCB layout and manufacturing.
- Extensive experience in FPGA development, VHDL/Verilog programming, and debugging.
- Proven track record in developing and integrating embedded systems, proficient in C/C++ and assembly language programming.
- Understanding of system architecture principles, hardware-software integration, and signal processing.
- Ability to define and manage technical requirements in complex engineering projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
- Expertise in testing and characterization of electronic systems.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
