    Description

    Seeking a manager level procurement specialist with experience and skills relevant to working within the strategic software sourcing and procurement team. Candidate behaviors should align with support of software procurement and related analytical activities.

    This position will be responsible for procurement of various types of Software agreements, maintenance and related services across the enterprise. This position will also engage on more complex strategic agreements as needed under guidance of a senior team member in the software category and may be assigned other special projects. Supports selection of products and suppliers ensuring the best possible price, quality, service, and overall terms. Supports opportunities to reduce costs, minimize risk and improve business conditions. Has the ability to draft and understand business and technical requirements related to technology acquisition. Supports drafting, negotiation and management of complex contracts. Exhibits strong analytical skills and deep culture of customer service excellence within the team. Responsible for analysis of contracts, proposals, and data related to sourcing activities.

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge of various type of Software and related services including perpetual, term and subscription agreements, maintenance and support, and other IT products
    • Superior knowledge and understanding of software contract terms and conditions
    • Demonstrated knowledge of different types of software and services
    • Demonstrated knowledge of information technology and software terminology
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent communication and writing skills
    • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the P2P process and ability to identify appropriate solutions for spend categories

    Required Education

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Preferred Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain management preferred Required Related Work Experience
    • Procurement contract negotiation and contract management experience - 3+ years Electronic procurement and or contract solutions experience (1-3 years)
