    Description
    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborates with Program Directors to create the schedule, establish and maintain program goals, and conduct program assessments, curriculum reviews, and support.


    • external accreditation activities. Develops and implements ongoing improvement strategies to support program development and academic standards.


    • Provide direct support to the clinical training department. Collect, process, and input all practicum, Internship, and professional development hours.


    • Provides administrative support to faculty, adjunct faculty, and departmental committees and processes, including but not limited to SERC (Student Evaluation & Review Committee), comprehensive exams, budgeting, annual reports, adjunct/independent contractor paperwork/contracts, attendance, and student worker hiring.


    • Assists with departmental outreach, including editing materials for the catalog.


    • Website, manuals, handbooks, marketing. Partners with Admissions and Marketing to assist with Open Houses and outreach initiatives.


    • Collaborates with the Student Services Department on student development workshops and participation in New Student Orientation and Commencement.


    • Uses independent judgment to prioritize projects to ensure efficiency, program success, and the student experience. Collaborates with Student Advisors (SSA) to ensure a positive student experience.


    • Interfaces with the Registrar and Program Directors to ensure timely and accurate information regarding course offerings, textbook requirements, syllabi, etc. are available to students.


    • Library support duties consist of sending and receiving shipments from the library courier, Unity, and checking materials in and out using the library's Sierra software.


    • Under the guidance of the San Diego library staff, prepare test kits and protocols needed by assessment classes and practicum/internship students.


    • Refers to students who need research assistance or dissertation support accordingly.


    • Perform other related tasks, duties, and responsibilities as required, assigned, or directed.

    Supervisory Responsibility:

    Direct Reports: None.

    Indirect Reports: Student Assistants.

    Contact Responsibility:

    Internal: Interacts with supervisor to receive direction and instructions and/or review of work results. This position will work closely with students and colleagues (including, but not limited to, program directors, academic advisors, faculty, and staff) in multiple departments (i.e., Admissions, Disability Services, Career Services, Library, etc.) to support faculty, students, and colleagues in achieving student success and Department goals.

    Primary Work Location, Hours & Travel Requirements:

    Office Location: On Campus.

    Work Hours: Standard office hours, this is a 37.5-hour work week, varying with evening and weekend rotations required.

    Work Environment:

    The work environment is in a standard office setting. Frequently exposed to low to moderate noise, various odors, temperature changes, and equipment with moving parts, including but not limited to computers, phones, printers, and other standard office equipment.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to execute those physical activities required to perform the essential functions including, but not limited to, regular sitting and being mobile; continual communicating both in person and on the telephone; regular keyboarding; regular reading of both print and digital material; and all other activities required to perform essential functions.
