Overview:

This position is responsible for performing key accounting functions and providing financial guidance and support to the assigned business units, under the direction of the Companys Group Controller.

Responsibilities:

Extract data in the most efficient manner possible to compile reports showing real-time information in a relevant and user-friendly format.
Verify, allocate and post details of business transactions to accounts and sub-accounts.
Reconcile and balance accounts. Research and correct errors.
Drive month-end closing process and analyze financial results vs. budget, forecast and prior years performance.
Act as a liaison between Accounting and HR to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely.
Assist with annual budgeting process.
Establish and maintain procedures to reconcile Corporate intercompany transactions.
Prepare reports and information for external auditors and management as requested.
Responsible for fixed asset management.
Identify and implement process improvements within the Finance/Accounting functions to drive efficiency and allow more time for value-added activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Minimum of two (2) years of recent public or private accounting experience required; professional auditing experience desired.
Thorough understanding of US GAAP required.

Skills:

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency required.
Ability to leverage information systems and business technology to drive process improvements and implement best accounting practices.
Strong oral/written and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be able to work well with a wide range of individuals.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, make decisions, prioritize and meet assigned deadlines.
Highly motivated and able to implement and drive efficient processes.

Physical Requirments:

Frequently required to: sit for prolonged periods of time, reach for/manipulate standard office equipment, communicate with various staff and/or reach for and manipulate objects.

Environment:

Frequently exposed to indoor/controlled weather conditions.

The pay range for this position is $67,500-70K /year. The Company offers paid vacation time, paid sick leave, medical, dental and vision plans as well as a 401(k) with employer match.

Note: Valid Drivers License required for insurance purposes. Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of this position at any time.
