- Responsible for designing and developing software systems and applications - create software or products tailored to a specific need.
- Act as high-level decision makers in the process, determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms and coding standards.
- Define standards frameworks and solutions, within best practices, for the development's teams to follow.
- Guide teams to best practices within technology
- Oversee and review solutions that are put in place by development.
- Ensure best practices are followed.
- Assist in selection of tools that facilitate the creation, management, and support of software.
- Lead design/development of core framework components that can be reused in other solutions.
- POC's and R&D development, lead team in the creation of POCs and new technology research.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field
- Previous experience building large scale projects with Java, Python, Salesforce and Mulesoft
- Willing and able to work with a variety of programming languages.
- Experience with Linux production environments
- Good knowledge of databases such as MySQL and Postgres
- Strong opinions backed by proven experience on how systems should be built.
