    Description


    Job Summary:
    Responsible for designing and developing software systems and applications - create software or products tailored to a specific need.

    Act as high-level decision makers in the process, determining everything from design choices to technical standards, such as platforms and coding standards.


    Essential Job Functions:
    Define standards frameworks and solutions, within best practices, for the development's teams to follow.
    Guide teams to best practices within technology
    Oversee and review solutions that are put in place by development.
    Ensure best practices are followed.
    Assist in selection of tools that facilitate the creation, management, and support of software.
    Lead design/development of core framework components that can be reused in other solutions.
    POC's and R&D development, lead team in the creation of POCs and new technology research.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field
    Previous experience building large scale projects with Java, Python, Salesforce and Mulesoft
    Willing and able to work with a variety of programming languages.
    Experience with Linux production environments
    Good knowledge of databases such as MySQL and Postgres
    Strong opinions backed by proven experience on how systems should be built.

    Supervisory Responsibility
    To perform duty, may require leading a team that will do research and some development. Will direct team that will help other development teams to adopt new standards.

    A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $150K/annum to $160K/Annum
