We're supporting our client, a high precision manufacturer of power transmission products based in Westfield, NY who are looking for a Design Engineer to join their growing team. The successful Design Engineer will have experience with engineering software systems – especially Windchill/Creo.

The role presents a real opportunity to become a vital and valued contributor to the engineering department. The role is expected to be an essential member of the engineering team. This is a "career defining" position for an individual seeking to become a highly valued, vital employee who will make a significant difference in the operations of the organization.
The candidate will have close interaction with many other departments within the business. As such they will be expected to contribute to the tactical direction of the business. They must possess a professional maturity commensurate with interacting with senior managers in the business.
The ideal candidate will possess a natural feel as to how factories operate coupled with an understanding of creating designs and production models for the shop floor to implement. The individual must develop robust knowledge of the company standard Engineering software systems. An individual possessing an ambitious, driven, well-reasoned approach to matters will thrive in this opportunity.
The role is based in Westfield, New York and reports to the President.
