The
Aller-Weser-Klinik gGmbH, located in the geographically interesting city triangle of Hamburg-Bremen-Hannover, operates the hospitals in Verden with 131 beds and Achim with 140 beds in the district of Verden, which together provide care for 15,000 inpatients and 29,000 outpatients annually.


The AWK Verden includes the departments of Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology and Intensive Care, General and Visceral Surgery, Trauma Surgery and Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Anesthesiology.

The ward has 65 beds, mainly in 2-bed rooms in the new building at the Verden location. A certified bowel center is being established on this level. In addition, the ward has a patient room for bariatric patients with all necessary equipment (e.g. ceiling patient lift to the bathroom).


Your tasks:


  • Medical history, care planning and evaluation
  • Determination of nursing measures
  • Accompaniment of executing nursing staff
  • Consultation and instruction of executing nursing staff
  • Reporting to the ward manager
  • Reporting to various committees
  • Organization of specialized nursing (wound care, compression, nutrition)
  • Interdisciplinary discharge planning
  • Maintaining electronic patient documentation
  • Review of documentation and performance recording
  • Counseling and prevention

Profile of requirements:


  • Completed vocational training as a Health and Nursing Professional or Pediatric Health
