About the Park:

New Orleans RV Resort & Marina - New Orleans, LA This park is a high-end, gated RV resort and marina with villas for rent, restaurant and bar and guest lodge in a marina setting located near Lakefront Airport. The Resort and Marina is operated by Applebrook Homes, LLC.

About the Job:

We are looking for talented candidates who are well-rounded maintenance pros to take on a variety of projects throughout the resort. In the full-time position, you will be responsible for helping us maintain and enhance our RV Resort and Marina.

Perform minor electrical, plumbing and structural repairs
Ensure mechanical equipment is operating properly and repaired as needed.
Perform general building and grounds maintenance as needed such as repairs and painting
Install and replace floors, stairs, doors and fencing as needed
Repair doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs as needed
Follow all company safety protocols
Work on other special projects as requested

Experience/Skills Required:

At least 1 year of maintenance experience required
Highschool graduate or GED required
A sense of energy, integrity and dependability
Dedication to serving customers and a job well done
Proficient with hand tools and power tools
Knowledge and experience with basic plumbing and electrical systems
Must be able to work 8 hours shifts, five days a week from 8:30 to 4:30, including some weekends
Must be within commuting distance to the Resort and have reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and actively walk through the resort | Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach | Able to work outdoors throughout the year | Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside
