    Job Description

    Job DescriptionAs the Technical Product Owner for NextGen Electronic Medical Records (EMR), you will play a crucial role in defining, prioritizing, and delivering the technical features and functionalities of the EMR system. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the NextGen EMR.


    Responsibilities:


    Define and maintain the long-term vision and roadmap for the NextGen EMR, considering technical capabilities, market trends, and user needs.

    Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations for the EMR system.
    Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for the development team.
    Collaborate with the development team to prioritize features and technical tasks for each development sprint or release.

    Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and understanding between both parties.

    Address technical questions, resolve issues, and make trade-off decisions when necessary.
    Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the EMR meets end-user needs and expectations.

    Collaborate with training and support teams to develop appropriate materials and resources to assist end-users in adopting and utilizing the EMR effectively.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
    Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, ideally within the healthcare or EMR domain.
    In-depth understanding of NextGen EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.
    Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certifications are advantageous.
