    Sous Chef - Upscale Italian Restaurant in Boca Raton, FL

    Our client, a recently opened upscale restaurant in the heart of Boca Raton, is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join their culinary team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled chef to work in a scratch kitchen, preparing exquisite dishes for the local Boca Raton area.

    Responsibilities:


    - Work closely with the Corporate Chef to develop and execute innovative, high-quality menus
    - Manage back-of-house administrative duties, including inventory management, ordering, and staff scheduling
    - Be hands-on in the kitchen, working expo and line stations as needed
    - Train, mentor, and lead a team of skilled cooks and kitchen staff
    - Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
    - Assist in the expansion of the restaurant's service to include lunch in the future

    Requirements:


    - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant setting
    - Expertise in pasta, Italian, and Mediterranean cuisine
    - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
    - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
    - Flexibility to work a 50-55 hour workweek, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
    - Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
