The HAMMONIA Shipping Company is an international manager and project developer in the maritime sector.

With a long-standing tradition, we combine modern ship management practices to provide services to our clients, including financial investors, liner shipping companies, chartering firms, and a publicly listed corporation.

Our services include technical management, crew management, newbuilding supervision, and post-fixture operations. Currently, our team of 70 employees manages 45 vessels, including container ships, multipurpose freighters, and tankers.

To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking:

A student assistant (m/f/d)

in the areas of controlling/treasury/shipping accounting

on a 520 EUR or 850 EUR basis. The workload can be negotiated to 10-20 hours per week, with flexible and individual working hours.

or

An intern (m/f/d)

as part of a mandatory internship

based on 40 hours per week.

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

Assisting the controllers in preparing internal and external reports
Various controlling activities (e.g. creating forecast calculations, cash flow planning, participating in budget comparisons)
Supporting the shipping accounting department in processing incoming invoices, invoicing outgoing invoices, and other tasks
Weekly creation of a macroeconomic report for various recipients
Various tasks in the areas of payment transactions, finance, and credit management (e.g. creating a mortgage
