Description
Accounting ManagerPhihong Technology, is looking for an Accounting Manager to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. Accounting Manager responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our financial management team.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with other departments/warehouses to identify and resolve invoice issues efficientlyRoute & verify accounts payable for proper approval prior to paymentEnter payable information into the Company's accounting/payment systemProcess payments (ACH/checks/wires)Solve vendor payment issuesIn charge of month end close and prepare financial statementsPrepare general ledger entries to ensure and maintain GL are properly posted into accounting systemProvide accurate and timely reports including financial analysis and operational metricsManage daily cash flow and verify all transactions deposited / withdrew from company bank account, prepare daily cash report, generate Bank reconciliation on a monthly basis/per top management's requestResponsible and preparing all required information for sales tax & use tax filing, and 1099 filing.
Maintain/oversee fixed asset list with depreciation database updateResolve expense report discrepancies in compliance with corporate guidelinesSupervise AR billing and AP payment, ensure transactions are in compliance with IRS regulations/Federal & state tax rulesResponsible for various internal audits by HQEstablish, follow, and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principlesProven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance ManagerAdvanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databasesAbility to manipulate large amounts of dataProven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulationsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to lead and supervisePerform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting5+ years work experience in General Accountant level3+ years work experience in Accounting Supervisor/Manager roleExcellent Excel skills including pivot table, V-look upExperience using Microsoft Suite tools: Word, PowerPoint, TeamsCross functional collaboration skills with high level of communicationDetailed oriented, able to multitask and prioritize workloads with competing deadlinesSelf-motivated, quick learner, thrive in a fast-paced environment, team playerHigh attention to detailCPA preferredExperienced in International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS)Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin is a plus
