    MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER

    $130,000 – $150,000 + BONUS + BENEFITS

    PHOENIX, AZ

    HYBRID (4 days in office)

    THE COMPANY:

    This company is a startup in the AI software space. They primarily focus on the nuclear power industry, with plans to expand into various sectors.

    THE ROLE:

    The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for developing and fine-tuning AI models, with a focus on text classification and NLP. You'll work closely with clients to gather specific requirements, refine existing models, and deploy solutions that address their unique challenges.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct advanced text classification tasks and risk quantification using NLP techniques.
    • Collaborate with clients to fine-tune models and develop custom solutions to their requirements.
    • Integrate Gen AI services into various software platforms, leveraging your expertise in deep learning frameworks.
    • Deploy models on both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
    • Contribute to the development of our proprietary foundation models, refining them for specific domains and applications.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Expert in Python
    • Demonstrated expertise in deep learning, preferably with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
    • Solid understanding of data science fundamentals, including model training, validation, and feature engineering.
    • Prior experience in software development or DevOps
    • Productivity-driven mindset with a focus on delivering results.
    • Results-oriented attitude with a strong emphasis on contribution and teamwork.
    • Bachelor's Degree (in a technical field)

    Nice to have:

    • Containerization experience using Docker
    • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
    • Knowledge of cloud technologies and architecture
    • Experience with LLM's
    • Experience working in a startup environment

    Candidate must be in Phoenix and willing to work on-site 4 days/wk

    Must be authorized to work in the US
