    Description

    Join our team as a Technical Solutions Architect at a leading company in the tech industry!

    Location: Albany OR NYC – Hybrid – You'll get to work onsite 50% of the time and enjoy the flexibility of remote work or traveling for the rest!

    Travel: Expect to travel approximately 30-50% depending on client requirements. Don't worry, travel expenses are separately reimbursed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design comprehensive technical solutions that meet business needs and conform to architecture standards.
    • Offer technical guidance and leadership to project teams during solution development.
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and best practices.
    • Transform business requirements into technical solutions considering scalability, performance, security, and usability.
    • Evaluate new technologies for technical solution incorporation and provide adoption recommendations.
    • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements.
    • Effectively communicate technical solutions to stakeholders at all levels and address feedback.
    • Work with development teams to oversee the implementation of technical solutions according to design.
    • Drive continuous improvement in solution architecture processes and practices.

    Requirements:

    • Hold a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture, software development, or a related technical role.
    • Proficiency in various technology domains like cloud computing, microservices architecture, databases, and integration technologies.
    • Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices in software development.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle technical challenges efficiently.
    • Familiarity with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in technical solution design.
    • Skilled in leading technical discussions and decision-making processes within cross-functional teams.
