    Description

    Overview: Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of innovative LED lighting solutions based in Milford, Connecticut. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Engineer to independently lead and coordinate the technical development efforts of multiple projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge lighting products that cater to both interior and exterior needs, including landscape lighting solutions.

    About the Company: Our client is a well-established company specializing in LED lighting solutions, known for their wide variety of power supply centers, transformers, and a range of color temperatures and CRI options for their LED lights. They pride themselves on their comprehensive product offerings, including wet-listed and submersible options, and innovative solutions like the Q-Angle bracket for lighting signs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and coordinate technical development efforts across multiple projects ensuring alignment with performance, quality, cost, and schedule goals.
    • Organize and manage development resources, including Electrical Engineers, Industrial Designers, and technicians.
    • Collaborate with other departments and external vendors to streamline project timelines.
    • Provide technical expertise and counsel to non-technical audiences, including customers and internal departments.
    • Coordinate and lead executive-level updates and sign-off meetings as part of the Product Development process.
    • Anticipate, analyze, resolve, or escalate issues to prevent significant project schedule impacts.
    • Ensure no detail falls through the cracks by filling gaps and driving tasks to completion.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field.
    • 5+ years of experience in product development, with a focus on LED lighting or related industries.
    • Proven experience in leading teams and managing development projects.
    • Strong background in electronics, including power supplies, components, analog, and digital circuits.
    • Proficient in writing technical reports and conducting technical or failure analyses.
