    Description
    Currently supporting a leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company with a strong track record in power, renewable, and industrial projects as they grow their Engineering team. They are looking to hire a Senior PV/Solar Engineer to lead the technical aspect of their utility-scale solar projects.
    This role goes beyond just a standard job - it offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in PV to focus on PV modeling, design, operational efficiency, stakeholder coordination, engineering management, and overseeing project execution from start to finish on various high-value utility-scale projects.
    The position is on-site, working with a manager known for their passion, attention to detail, and dedication. Relocation assistance is provided.
    The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • Proven background (approximately 5 years) in designing and engineering utility-scale solar PV systems for production, performance, equipment sizing, design, layout, estimation, procurement, construction, interconnection, and operation of solar PV power plants.
    • Experience in site evaluation, proposal development, engineering, modeling, and commissioning for new and retrofitted installations.
    • Working closely with regulatory bodies, utilities, subcontractors, equipment vendors, and clients.
    • Thorough understanding of relevant codes and standards (NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, IEEE, & OSHA).
    • Proficiency in PVsyst and AutoCAD, along with a solid comprehension of electrical systems and codes.
    • Background in project management and fieldwork.
    • Ability to learn and teach effectively.
