Responsibilities

This role will report to the Accounting Director and gain accounting exposure for corporate accounting and real estate investments
Responsibilities include maintaining and supporting the general ledger, recording revenue, accruing expenses
Review monthly accounts prepared by managers, manage bank loans, monthly repayments, and cash flow management
Partner with business operators to support the effective management of the assets
Prepare and review standard and complex journal entries, consolidation statements, and balance sheet reconciliations
Monitor prepaid expenses and reconcile general ledger accounts
Evaluate accounting models and calculation methodologies
Prepare the investor reporting on a quarterly basis
Qualifications

This role will report to the Accounting Director and gain accounting exposure for corporate accounting and real estate investments. Qualifications:

Background in Private Equity, Real Estate, or Construction is a plus
Success in this role will require an acute understanding of business and financial issues
Curiosity and a commitment to understand complex financial transactions is essential.
Ability to multi-task and handle priorities in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
Nimble learner who will be able to take on tasks with minimal supervision
Desire to grow and develop both professionally and personally
Strong written and oral communication skills
