This position will report to the Director of Finance and work closely with the CEO and other Sr. Leadership.The organization provides an exceptional setting for people 65+ with multiple living options, a variety of amenities and services, engaging activities and programs, and of course excellent clinical care.
The Assistant Controller will be a key member of the leadership team. Assistingin managing day-to-day general ledger account and finance activities for the organization.Primarily responsible for leadership, oversight, and training of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Accounting staff.
The ideal candidate:
A self-starter who enjoys mentoring and leading a small team of finance professionalsAn experienced finance and accounting professional.5+ years of management experience8+ years of accounting and/or finance experienceA bachelor's degree in finance or accountingExperience within the Senior Living or residential management industries.
Knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxes and banking is requiredStrategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling experience is preferredCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plusThis is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional seeking a supportive organization that will value your expertise.
