    Description

    Location:

    Work At Home

    Pay Range:

    $ $24.15

    Position Summary:

    Responsible for supporting non-forward-facing functions related to patient care including but not limited to, registration, medical records, scheduling, reports, answering and routing calls to clinic.

    Key Performance Areas:

    KPA 1 - Communication

    • Answer incoming calls and route to the appropriate department.
    • Appropriately document patient communication in EMR system.

    KPA 2 - Chart Completion

    • Create and maintain patient charts within the EMR and billing systems for New and Hospital Consult Patients.
    • Locate and retrieve medical records.
    • Assist with fax servers.

    KPA 3 - Clinic support

    • Assist with scheduling patient appointments.
    • Assist with reports related to front office functions.
    • Assist with MIPS reporting requirements.

    Position Qualifications/Requirements:

    Education:

    • High School Diploma

    Previous Experience:

    • 2 years' experience in healthcare or physician practice setting.

    Office experience to include:

    • Procedure entry with experience in insurance and/or medical terminology preferred.

Ability to build an engaging culture of quality, performance effectiveness and operational excellence through best practices, strong business and political acumen, collaboration and partnerships, as well as a positive employee, physician and community relations.
    • Self-Management: Effectively manages own time, conflicting priorities, self, stress, and professional development. Self-motivated and self-starter with ability work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work remotely effectively as required.
    • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
    • Computer Skills:
      • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.

    Standard Work Days/Hours : Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
