- Answer incoming calls and route to the appropriate department.
- Appropriately document patient communication in EMR system.
- Create and maintain patient charts within the EMR and billing systems for New and Hospital Consult Patients.
- Locate and retrieve medical records.
- Assist with fax servers.
- Assist with scheduling patient appointments.
- Assist with reports related to front office functions.
- Assist with MIPS reporting requirements.
- High School Diploma
- 2 years' experience in healthcare or physician practice setting.
- Procedure entry with experience in insurance and/or medical terminology preferred.
