- Participates in the S&OP Process to ensure production dates and goals are achieved.
- Utilize MRP to adjust and release raw material purchase requisitions.
- Collaborates with purchasing to ensure appropriate raw materials are present for future consumption.
- Utilize Fulfillment Workbench to create and maintain dispensing jobs and material allocation.
- Analyzes Business Alerts.
- Review forecasts and historical usage of ingredient products to determine accurate Safety Stock levels and restocking points.
- Review inventory levels for excess / write offs / blend backs.
- Schedule outside toll manufacturing as needed.
- Review and Maintain Master data.
- Establishes standards for finished goods floor stock as required by customer contracts or directed and approved by sales management.
- Commitment to Robertet and SQF Quality Standards and continuous improvement of the quality management systems.
- Provide Support/Communication for all Internal Teams
- Utilize Pegging Report to Communicate Planning Issues to Internal Teams

Ability to effectively present information (oral/written) and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the public.

- High School Diploma with Manufacturing Experience greater than 5 years.

- College Degree with Manufacturing Experience greater than 5 years and strong supervisory skills, APICS certified
- Working knowledge of MRP, Batchmetrics and Oracle is a plus.
- Office work environment with occasional trips to and from the warehouse and production areas.
- The individual may be exposed to elevated room temperatures and above average noise levels in the manufacturing environments.

SUMMARY:
Material Planner I is responsible for demand planning of raw materials, blends, and finished goods to satisfy sales orders to meet customer demands. This includes the replenishment and repack of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
