- Aggressively develop the Bio Pharm. market-space.
- Perform Solutions based selling to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Implement strategic marketing/sales initiatives into the region that are consistent with corporate goals and objectives.
- Keep current on assigned market dynamics, applications trends, and competitive information.
- Manage Forecast, establishment of sales goals and pipeline management.
- Develop and maintain technical proficiency with Waters solutions and be recognized by customers as a credible resource.
- Fully utilize Waters sales contact management tools and applications.
- Participate in the support of trade shows, local technical discussion groups/ and customer seminars.
- Drive technical discussions with customers to gain a deep understanding of their needs and identify growth opportunities.
- Travel within in the territory will be about 30-40%
- Bachelors Degree, Masters, or PhD in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
- 5+ years chromatography experience.
- UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales and/or marketing is a plus
- Overnight travel is required and international travel as needed
- Strong understanding of up stream and down stream Bio Processing and Product Critical Quality Attribute monitoring.
- Strong understanding of/or experience with clone selection, protein functional analyses, and the analysis of cell culture media.
- Field sales and marketing experience a plus.
- Productive and self committed to results.
- Able to optimally lead a team to increase market share.
