    Job Description

    Are you ready to lead the charge in keeping the Army National Guard fueled up and ready to roll? As a Food Service Specialist, your mission is clear: provide your fellow Soldiers with the nourishment they need to tackle any challenge and defend our nation.

    In this pivotal role, you'll be the master of all things culinary for your unit. From menu planning and food preparation to maintaining impeccable hygiene standards, whether you're feeding a small squad or a large battalion, you'll be the unsung hero behind the scenes.

    Job Duties

    - Prepare a variety of dishes following Army guidelines

    - Operate and maintain field kitchen equipment

    - Conduct routine maintenance on kitchen gear

    Training Benefits

    Food Service Specialist training includes 10 weeks of Basic Training to solidify your foundational skills, followed by nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) to hone your expertise in the field.
