We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Social Studies Teacher for the school year in Dallas, TX.     Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Education, Social Studies, or related field (Masters degree preferred)
    • Texas state certification in Social Studies (Grades 6-12)
    • Experience teaching Social Studies at the middle or high school level
    • Strong knowledge of Social Studies curriculum standards and instructional strategies
    • Passion for fostering critical thinking, inquiry, and active citizenship in students
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment
    • Dedication to professional growth and development

    Responsibilities:

    • Planning and delivering engaging Social Studies lessons aligned with state standards
    • Incorporating a variety of instructional methods and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners
    • Using technology to enhance instruction and student learning
    • Assessing student progress and providing timely feedback
    • Differentiating instruction to support students of varying abilities
    • Facilitating classroom discussions and activities that promote critical thinking and civic engagement
    • Collaborating with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects
    • Participating in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities
