- Assist Campus Recruitment Team in planning, coordinating, and executing on-campus events as well as virtual events
- Posting and promoting intern & analyst program roles
- Screening all applications
- Managing the candidate pipeline and tracking candidate flow through the recruitment process (first round interviews, final round interviews, offers, onboarding, etc.) and ensure accuracy
- Manage candidate communication regarding scheduling interviews, attending on-site / off-site events, and feedback
- Attending conferences, in-house and on-campus events to promote SMBC
- Liaise with universities and diversity partners to market roles and events
- Responsible for offer letter creation and pre-employment documentation
- Comfortably handle data tasks, including generating reports on a regular basis.
- 0-2 years' experience in human resources, client services, recruiting or communications in a corporate environment preferred. Internship experience welcome.
- Bachelor's degree
- Thrives in an ambiguous environment and has the ability to manage changing priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with individuals at all levels, including communication (verbal and written), emotional intelligence and cultural intelligence
- Strong Microsoft office skills (Outlook, Excel &PowerPoint).
- The ability to work as a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, flexible and collaborative work environment
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $45,000.00 and $63, The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.
Role Description
Overview:
As part of the Campus Recruitment team, your primary responsibilities are partnering with the recruiters and our internal stakeholders to ensure that we provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The role involves all aspects of the process including scheduling interviews and logistics, maintaining recruiting data within the HR systems, creating and distributing offer packages as well as some aspects of the pre-employment and onboarding process. This position requires an individual who can multi-task and work well under pressure in a demanding environment all while remaining extraordinarily organized and having a keen eye for detail.
In addition to the day to day activities this is a unique opportunity on a small team to become involved with critical projects, process improvement initiatives, reporting, metrics and analytics. The team is supporting a growing business and there could be additional career opportunities in the future for an individual that proves they have the ability to learn and develop professionally.
