    As a member of the Seating Purchasing team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for purchasing and negotiating production materials from vendors. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for cost effective procurement and delivery of material and services required to support plant and customer requirements.

    **The Role:**

    Your work will include, but not be limited to:

    Protecting or enhancing company margins by coordinating lowest cost sourcing, maintaining or improving material margins through launch, and driving post-launch cost reduction idea generation/implementation

    Developing commodity strategies to achieve results

    Negotiating long term agreements and/or program award agreements

    **Your Qualifications:**

    Familiarity with commercial terms and total cost management concepts required

    Data driven analysis and negotiating techniques

    Thorough understanding of product cost drivers

    Superior conflict resolution skills/relationship management

    Independent workload prioritization, focusing efforts on the most critical and impactful activities

    Action oriented / produces results

    Strong written communication and presentation skills

    Ability to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment
