    Description
    Client is seeking a full-time Transportation Engineer for their roadway design group based in Nashville. This position is responsible for project design and task management within transportation design.

    Responsibilities
    Execute transportation and roadway design plans, studies, and analyses through project software
    Horizontal and vertical geometric design
    Stormwater/erosion prevention and sediment control/traffic control design

    Requirements
    Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
    4+ years of engineering experience with recent experience in transportation design preferred
    Tennessee PE license or the ability to obtain
    Understanding of roadway design guidance from AASHTO
    Knowledge of TDOT guidelines, procedures, and plan preparation
    Experience in development of roadway plans and specifications along with local municipalities and permitting agencies
    Experience with MicroStation, Geopak, OpenRoads or AutoCAD Civil 3D
