The Tourism Association Leipziger Neuseenland e. V.

is looking for a flexible part-time employee on a 520€ basis for the Tourist Information Leipziger Neuseenland & Stadt Markkleeberg starting on January 1st, 2023.

You can expect a diverse work experience with locals and visitors in a small team.

The Tourist Information is also a point of contact for concert tickets, souvenirs, regional products, event and tour vouchers, and tips for excursions in the Leipziger Neuseenland.

Experience and knowledge of the entire region are advantageous for guest consultations.


Responsibilities:

  • Individual consultation of guests on tourist and cultural offerings (in person, over the phone, and online)
  • Working with various ticket platforms, booking and cash systems
  • Sales of maps, vouchers, souvenirs, and changing regional products
  • Organization of product displays, including distributing brochures
  • Creation and sending of information materials and invoices
  • Collaboration with tourism service providers and member support

Qualifications:

  • Enjoyment of interacting with guests and visitors
  • Good knowledge of the local area and region, or a high willingness to independently acquire missing information
  • Serviceoriented thinking and acting
  • Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, experience with reservation systems and databases desirable
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, desirable
  • Willingness to work shifts and weekends within the opening hours
