SUMMARY:
Designs, develops, tests, and implements digital printed circuit boards and hardware platforms.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs and develops hardware design solutions consistent with specifications and requirements.
Reviews system requirements and extracts hardware functionality.
Performs component selection.
Generates and executes design verification test plans; coordinates with quality assurance team to identify problems and create solutions.
Investigates and thoroughly understands new technologies.
Participates in design and product reviews.
Modifies existing designs to meet new market needs as required.
Coordinates manufacturing and procurement efforts.
Assists in transition from engineering to manufacturing.
Supports user training and education.
Prepares technical and progress reports on assigned projects.
Collaborates with project directors, technical writers, product managers, quality assurance engineers and other technical team members to develop new products.
Travel required as part of on-site engineering activitiesPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum bachelor's degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent.
Four to six years related experience or equivalent.
Cybersecurity experience required
CISSP certification preferred
