    Description

    The successful candidate will have compassion and empathy for the Cherry Street community. She/he should be a spiritually mature Christian who is able to work with a wide range of people.     **Responsibility:**

    Individual Contributor this role does not have any management or lead responsibilities. It is independent of others while successfully coordinating and completing all custodial/sanitation work and maintaining supplies needed for designated building areas.

    **Purpose:**

    Leads All sanitation of Life Revitalization Center through Systems and in Training approximately 70% of time in Environmental Services and 30% helping with warehouse needs**.**

    **Essential Functions:**

    Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)

    The trainer of Janitorial supplies, such as chemicals and standardization of building chemicals.

    Order through Warehouse Manager needed supplies while adhering to a set budget.

    Lead groups for cleaning projects and day to day cleaning

    Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

    Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects

    Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

    Stock and maintain supply rooms

    Follow all health and safety regulations as required on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

    Assisting the Warehouse coordinator with donations and house orders

    Assisting in events to provide hospitality

    Required to complete audits

    Outside walks with vendors

    *Essential Functions may be revised upon management discretion

    Qualifications **Education and Experience**

    Proven working experience as a janitor

    Ability to handle floor cleaning equipment and machinery

    Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets

    Integrity and ability to work independently

    Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

    High school degree or GED

    **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

    Knowledge of Outlook calendaring

    Excellent organization and planning skills

    Excellent reading, writing, speaking, and active listening skills

    Ability to successfully work independently and in a team environment

    Intermediate technical skills, with experience working in Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Office Suite products

    Is adaptable to change

    Effective problem-solving and decision making skills

    **Equipment/Personal Protective Equipment Used**

    May rarely use personal protective equipment as required for applicable tools being used

    **Licenses, Certificates, and Other Requirements**

    None required

    **Lifting Requirements**

    Medium work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
