**Position Description**
Primary responsibility for outbound business development to expand the branchs client base as well as management of all aspects of performance within the Business Branch, including results in branch sales, service and operations. This position provides strategic and experienced leadership and management for a high-opportunity branch team ensuring profitability, growth, and sound operations, with a particular focus on acquiring, expanding and retaining a portfolio of business clients along with business ownership and their employees. This position is responsible for driving branch teammates to provide an exceptional client experience while assisting new and existing customers through needs-based conversation and providing appropriate solutions to meet immediate, short-term and long-term financial needs, including through referrals to multiple lines of business.
**Position Accountabilities**
Acquire, retain and expand client relationships with a particular focus on deposit accounts, related treasury management services, loans, and fee-based services, along with successful referral to partners in Commercial, Treasury, Mortgage and Wealth.
Achieve strong individual and team sales/referral performance in deposits, loans, investments, and other product lines.
Develop and execute plans to meet/exceed branch sales goals while maintaining an operationally efficient and compliant branch.
Drive growth through outside business development with a focus on operating businesses.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge and aptitude in all aspects of deposit and loan sales, including product knowledge, operational processes, account analysis, treasury management services, online banking and other digital channels.
Prepare and maintain a personal marketing plan (PMP) based upon priority industry segments.
Conduct outbound sales calls to prospects identified in the PMP to generate client portfolio growth.
Effectively call on and develop relationships with centers of influence to generate referrals.
Direct, lead, and coach superior sales and service behaviors and activities by the entire branch team.
Successfully execute Performance Leadership routines, coaching teammates, and utilizing branch performance metrics in order to manage and measure branch success.
Build collaborative relationships with line of business partners.
Retain and grow portfolio through wellness calls on existing clients.
Represent the Bank in targeted business or community organizations as well as participate in Bank-sponsored events and maintain a business referral network.
Coach, train, and develop branch team through formal observations and coaching sessions.
Manage the branch, its personnel, and activities related to excellence in sales, service and operations.
Provide directly, and via branch teammates, excellent client experiences through needs-based conversations.
Maintain proficiency and educate teammates on products, services and digital capabilities (e.g., Zoom, DocuSign, Kronos, and Gro).
Manage teammate performance development process including performance reviews.
Interview and hire teammates to fill branch positions.
Analyze reports and via analytical dashboard and other sources to assess performance and make necessary adjustments.
Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations governing bank operations, including compliance with Atlantic Union Bankshares BSA/AML Policy and Procedures.

**Position Qualifications**
**Education & Experience**
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Five plus years retail banking experience
Three plus years of management experience in a sales environment
**Knowledge & Skills**
Extensive experience in banking sales, service and operations
Strong desire and proven ability to win relationships with business prospects
Advanced, demonstrable knowledge of both outside and inside sales processes and best practices
Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills, including proficiency in video conferencing

Proven ability to solve problems and make sound business decisions
