Farwest Steel Corporation is seeking applicants for the position of Branch Manager for the Medford branch.

The primary purpose of the position is to manage all aspects of the Branch. This includes sales, operations and accountability for all profit and loss responsibilities including timely production, mix and quantity of inventory to meet customer demands as well as assisting in defining and implementing work strategies to ensure profitability and market growth. Additionally the Manager will develop and execute Branch business strategy, maintain knowledge of market conditions, manage customer relations, oversee cross training and development of staff and manage personnel. Qualified candidates will apply Lean principles through continuous improvement, standardization of processes and procedures as well as facilitating communication between Divisions, branches, corporate departments, sales and customers.

Candidates must have prior supervisory experience managing a diverse workforce, proven ability to work in a dynamic work environment, ability to manage multiple tasks at once, a proven ability to develop business and strategic plans and solid computer skills using the suite of Microsoft Office tools. Must be able to develop strong client relationships as well as have proven leadership skills. Candidate must have proven ability to work independently requiring little day to day work direction. Candidates must have a willingness and ability to travel. A proven track record of employee/staff development is critical.

Additionally, candidates must have high school diploma or GED. Preference given to candidates with a college degree or advanced courses in manufacturing, business, or engineering.
