Description
OVERVIEW:
The Director of Product Marketing is responsible for the overall development and management of ATS Global Service portfolio of solutions including execution of marketing strategies to promote services in the marketplace. The successful candidate will oversee a team of marketing professionals to conduct market research and analyze trends, establish and lead a consistent product development process, create compelling marketing campaigns, and collaborate with ATS businesses to achieve business goals. Strong understanding of the market, excellent leadership abilities, strategic thinking, communication skills, and an ability to navigate matrixed organizations is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Vision, strategy & Leadership
• Develop and implement an integrated product development, marketing, and communications plan (inbound and outbound) to:
o Support the Global Service business strategy
o Support the annual commercial goals e.g., bookings, EBIT
o Advance Services brand identity
o Drive incremental business through lead generation
o Articulate Services' value proposition and position
o Identify and enable priority sales and marketing channels i.e., digital
Product Development & Management
• Manage product management team activities – offer development, launch, management, and reporting
• Oversee research to understand market and competitive landscape, offers, pricing, and market share including voice of customer activities
• Monitor trends and emerging concepts and technologies that help identify growth opportunities across new and existing product lines and customer segment
• Lead the development of standardized product development, launch, and management processes that can be implemented across the organization
• Responsible for the successful development and implementation of product roadmap
• Ensure organizational alignment and clarity of responsibilities by actively communicating & collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
• Track and report on product / service line performance – deliverables, financial, and other metrics
Marketing
• Oversee the design and delivery of creative, impactful, and measurable campaigns that will articulate the compelling value of the ATS Service Offering and drive qualified leads and customer engagements.
• Coordinate marketing activities considering and utilizing a multi-faceted approach and variety of channels – social media, website, tradeshows, direct, inbound, print, e-newsletter, webinars, etc. to drive traffic and transactions, increase expressed interest frequency.
• Liaise/interface with all ATS business entities with respect to marketing activities to realize synergies, optimize efforts and achieve maximum results
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Degree in business, or comparable field of study
Experience:
• Global experience in the field of Marketing including brand development in a high-performance organization focusing on strategy and/or have experience in a core strategic role with a large comparable company.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully develop, launch, and manage a product & service portfolio
• Understanding of the automation and/or aftermarket industry in combination with international work experience or background.
• Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
• Ability to lead by influencing and to generate enthusiasm within your stakeholder community.
• High resilience, flexibility and ability for multi-project management.
• Effective communication and presentation skills and an ability to efficiently deal with various stakeholders and interest groups.
