- Passionate about social media and internet culture, with an understanding paid & organic social
- The ability to think big picture one minute and get into the weeds the next

- Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills
- A passion for putting great creative out into the world
- 5-8 years of experience in social strategy at creative, social, or digital agencies
- Lead social strategy day-to-day on a few key accounts at the agency
- Act as a social strategy leader both internally and with clients on the role of social in an integrated marketing model; at a high level through the development of social strategies to tactically through social playbook development, social briefs, etc.
- Own key social deliverables (social strategies, playbooks, briefs, calendars, etc), collaborating with internal teams and clients as needed (supported by Strategy leadership)
- Become an expert on your client's category and competitors on social, acting as a go-to social expert for Account, Creative, and Media
- Foster relationships with key clients as needed to become a trusted strategic resource
- Collaborate closely with media to identify the right placements to bring the strategy and creative to life and execute paid social campaigns across channels
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure all concepts are social-forward and align with user behaviors on the platforms; identify opportunities to experiment and push the boundaries
- Collaborate directly with community managers to build out key deliverables and optimize CM approach to align with social strategy
- Write compelling social briefs in simple, human speak
- Support social media performance reports as needed, in collaboration with Media & Analytics
- Support strategy leadership with department needs, thought leadership, and new business pitches as needed
