    The Systems Implementation Engineer identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves problems encountered by clients as we assist them in implementing custom EMR software.

    Help configure, troubleshoot and solve terminal server and peripherals issues on the client's local network and computers.


    • Assist clients in resolving technical (Software, Servers, hardware) issues in a timely manner over the phone and in person.
    • Use established procedures to document, monitor, and resolve client issues. Document any new or updated policies and procedures as needed.
    • Work with Windows Technologies installing Operating Systems and resolving peripheral issues in the client's environment.
    • Serve as liaison between the client and the Implementation department on technical issues.
    • Provide on-site technical support for client implementations when necessary including the installation of peripherals.
    • Evaluate peripherals and make client recommendations based on company technical specifications.
    • Perform hardware and equipment testing and perform software upgrades for clients as needed
    • Participate in rotational after-hours on-call support.
    • Occasional local travel required per client request (Less than 25%)
    Required Skills


    • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a local network setting and terminal servers.
    • Networking knowledge of TCP/IP technologies required.
    • Knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals.
    • Able to work independently as well as with clients to complete objectives.
    • Solid trouble-shooting skills and excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Preferred Education/Work Experience


    • High school diploma/GED required.
    • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
    • Experience with Windows technologies (Windows 7, Windows Server and Active Directory).
