The Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Team (RME Team) is essential to our operations in Birmingham - ensuring that our technical systems and equipment are constantly functioning.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our material handling and building systems, as well as production equipment.
You will help maintain the highest safety standards and prevent machine downtime. Our technical team ensures high availability of our equipment and improves the quality of our devices.Key job responsibilities:
- Performing preventive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment at our locations
- Conducting repairs and troubleshooting
- Utilizing the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
- Adhering to all safety policies and practices
- Supporting the development and professional progress of apprentices at the site
- Working on projects for continuous improvement and implementing best practices at various EU locations
A day in the life:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be on-site at one of our logistics centers, ready to quickly respond to technical issues.
Working with senior colleagues, you will handle daily maintenance tasks and communicate with service providers if external expertise is needed.
