- Installs, maintains, repairs and replaces heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment throughout the hospital.
- Recommends and/or prepares purchase requests.
- Assists Contractors in shutdown of services and utility systems, as needed.
- Provides guidance and instructions to HVAC Mechanic B and other personnel assigned to projects.
- Serves as a member of the Fire Response Team.
- Performs related duties, as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Minimum three (3) years of HVAC experience, required.
- Ability to use tools of the trade and comprehend blueprints, required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
