The community of Blankenfelde-Mahlow is located in the district of Teltow-Fläming and is a bordering community of the federal capital Berlin.

The community is easily accessible from the city center by regional and suburban trains as well as by car. Approximately 29,800 residents live in five districts.


The community currently employs around 400 employees in the areas of administration, daycare centers, schools, youth facilities, library, and technology.

In addition, there are apprentices working in administration, the community library, and daycare centers.

Community Planning Officer (m/f/d)


Focus:
City and Regional Planning

as soon as possible.

The assigned area of work includes, among others, managing procedures for the creation, modification, or revocation of zoning plans and land use plans, participating in urban development contracts, overseeing informal urban planning, and amending and creating local ordinances.


The requirements for this position include:

  • Completed degree in civil engineering with a focus on city and regional planning/urban planning or a comparable technical education
  • Professional experience in the assigned area of work is desirable
  • Knowledge of modern communication and media techniques, as well as standard office programs
  • Excellent telephone, email, and personal communication skills, teamwork, and social competence
  • Quick comprehension, excellent organizational skills
  • A dedicated, independent, and meticulous work style
  • Good oral and written expression skills
