Quantum Scientist to join a growing team and shape the future of quantum technologies.
This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do:
- Be at the forefront of innovation, designing, building, testing, and analyzing experiments in quantum communication, sensing, and precision navigation.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and scientists to unlock the full potential of quantum technologies.
- Share your knowledge through proposals, publications, presentations, and briefings for both internal and external audiences.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree (with 48 years of experience) or a Master's degree (with 26 years of experience) in physics, applied physics, engineering, or a related field. A Ph.
- Possesses a strong research background in areas like integrated photonics, quantum optics, or quantum information science.
- Thrives on tackling complex challenges and developing innovative solutions.
- Has experience building and testing software prototypes, with strong analytical and computational skills.
- Communicates effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Is a team player, eager to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving projects.
Bonus Points for:
- Holding a Ph.
- Extensive experience in quantum sensing or quantum information technology.
- Knowledge of quantum networks, communication protocols, and related software.
- Familiarity with photonic simulation tools and microfabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in scientific coding, data analysis, and visualization tools (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
- Experience with photonic packaging processes.
Security Clearance:
U.S.
Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance is required (no clearance needed to start).
